How long will my project take?

Each project timeline varies depending on the type of project.

On average publication packages take 2-4 weeks to complete, branding takes 4-6 weeks and websites take 6-8 weeks. If you have a specific deadline that needs to be met, then lease
let me know!

What is the payment process?

Packages: A 50% deposit is required to book in your project. The remaining balance is required before final artwork files will be sent to you.

Ad Hoc Design: Any other Ad Hoc (one off/as needed) designs will be charged at an hourly rate of $80 AUD. This will be invoiced for payment at the completion of your project and will need to be paid before the final artwork files will be sent to you.

Do you offer a payment plan?

If you are really struggling we can potentially come to some payment plan terms. This will involve you having to sign a legal agreement to pay a specific amount by specific milestones.

I'm not in Melbourne, can we still work together?

Yes of course! I have worked with people across Australia and all over the world. Modern technology is great and I utilise a number of communication means including email, phone, Zoom, Skype, etc.

What do I need to begin the project?

The more details the better. I will send through any relevant questionnaires and requirements at the beginning of the project to ensure it all runs smoothly. Pinterest boards are also recommended for when we do branding and any other extensive projects. These all help me to get a better understanding of your likes and dislikes so that you can have the smoothest experience possible.

Website and Publication designs: All content and images need to be ready to go before the project begins. I am not a copywriter or a psychic and not having these ready may delay the final deadline of your project.

Is my initial deposit refundable?

For the larger projects the 50% deposit is not refundable once the project has begun. This $$ is used to secure your spot in my design queue. If we have not yet started your project there is room for discussion on this.

What if I just want a simple logo?

In short no. Branding should be viewed as a whole concept and not just a simple logo. To create a complete brand I take into account a number of different things including extensive research and a complete branding strategy to ensure your brand can shine in the spotlight it deserves.

If you are still insistent on just a logo and are really keen to work with me then still reach out and we can discuss further.

What files do I receive?

Branding Projects: Your will be supplied with all logo files needed to be successful in your business as well as a PDF explainer sheet so that you know what files type is for what. Your branding guidelines and any other elements will be supplied as a PDF unless otherwise specified.

Publication Projects: Upon the completion you will receive either a print ready or digital PDF unless another file type has been discussed. Editable documents (forms, Canva documents, presentation templates, etc) can be supplied, but a request for these must be made at the beginning of the project. I do not supply working files (InDesign files) unless previously discussed (note that this will incur further fees).

Website Projects: Full access and handover of your website. I currently do not offer maintenance plans, but this service may become available in the future.

What if you don't offer what I am after?

I have an extensive list of designs that I do offer, but if something you are after is not there or you have something a little different in mind then get in contact with me.

I ask a lot of questions and require a lot of information in the beginning to make sure I have a great understanding of your style and what you are after. Each projects has a specified amount of revision rounds which give you time to reflect and give feedback on what I have supplied to you. Sometimes if I am unsure I will send little sneak peaks of logos or the first few pages of a document just to gauge your interest and to make sure I am on the right track (these do not count as revision rounds).

If we do by chance have to go outside of the project scope or if you change your mind, any addition work will be charged at an hourly rate of $80 AUD.
